As you can see, Skrael ended up posting this, which is why my comment is late :) Oh, her comment is at some weird time because I had to change the time so it updated at midnight ;) Hers went up with the post even if mine shows up sooner.

I mainly just wanted to show that John's creeped out, and unsure if this is a zombie screwing with him, or just a corpse... I'd say we accomplished that goal...

Some new stuff on the forum, we're still working on getting the webpage working... Design is not my strength, but we can't afford a professional to design it... Oh well :)

Science Centre visit and FanExpo soon! June showed me the bookmarks, and they are pretty much done.. It's a double sided thing, and if it turns out half as well as it looks like it might, it'll be pretty awesome ;D I like bookmarks too because they are just so darn useful.

As for The Guild, I think I'd place myself somewhere between Vork and Codex.. But I prefer a healer in games like that. Not only are you responsible for the lives of everyone else, but you get to do some great saves on people... And you can be assured that you have a guaranteed place in almost any raid if you're even remotely competent ;)

I miss June, she's at the sleep study thing tonight :(

Believe it or not, Ole Corpsey™ is actually redrawn. That's right, I'm not feeding you the same picture of him over and over again, I promise!
(I'll have to really actually redraw him soon, I'm scared that he won't look the same hehe)

Magravan and I had a little bit of different ideas on how this one should be drawn from panel to panel.
I think that I managed to fail him, but I felt that it should be spelled out that John is tying the blanket in a loop and putting it on the dead guy's leg to drag him out.
That panel wasn't supposed to be there, but I added it in because I wasn't sure if people would be able to understand what was going on between Panel 2-a and 3.
Sorry if I'm an idiot for assuming that people may not 'get' what was going on. No offense was intended! hehe.

Well, I'm off for another sleep lab thing tonight. This time it's a 24 hour observation instead of 12 hour. Still trying to figure out why I'm so exhausted 24/7.
I am asking Magravan to post this for me, as I won't be here for the regular posting time :)

I have a bit of a busy week ahead. I have to finish up the bookmark designs, take them for printing, then on into the print store (my former workplace) and do all of the cutting/trimming myself to save money. That should take almost the entire day!
(But worth it, right?)
Then on Tuesday, we have a phone interview with the foster home that is housing our potential new puppy! I'm super excited that we may get her. She's 2 months old (probably 2.5 months old now) and she's a very sweet looking shepherd-husky mix.
Then I have to draw Thursday's and Monday's comics before the end of Wednesday night.
On Friday, we're planning to go to the Science Centre with the kids, and on Saturday, we're going to be at FanExpo!
Busy, busy, busy.

Any way, I hope that you all have a great week, and we'll see you Thursday!

P.S. Does any one watch the webshow The Guild? I've recently discovered it, and I LOVE it! I've watched seasons 1-3 around 3 times now. :)
Vork is my favourite. Codex is most like me, though I would never play a healer class seriously! I don't take criticism well, and everyone seems to like to blame every wipe on the healer!
Then I like Zaboo, Clara, Bladezz and Tinkerballa in that order. I don't really enjoy Tink's super snotty attitude, but she is pretty stereotypical of that type of gamer, as are the rest!
I loved getting to see Wil Wheaton in season 3! I was floored when I saw him!

Felicia Day will be at FanExpo! Hope we get to meet her. She's seems super! (and a hot redhead to boot - Shhh don't tell Magravan, I don't think he's noticed yet! heee heee) *winky face - oops the shift key slipped*

John's starting to loose it a bit.

I love the Guild. The music videos they do are pretty great too.

@Lunaris_Starchilde - I'd be probably more freaked out than he is ;)

@Linden - Love the new icon! June was rocking out to Do you wanna date my Avatar the other day :)

Actually, he IS dead, not a Zombie. Remember what Chad said. Breaking the cranium? Sounds to me that to kill a Zombie you need to destroy the brain, and whomever this fellow it, he shot himself IN THE HEAD.
Frosty edit delete reply
John will be fine. He has a trusty saucepan helmet. Those things can protect you from anything :o!
geekgrrl edit delete reply
The pot helmet...AWWWW! He's like a little five year old! (cuz the zombies can't get to your brain if you fend them off with a broom and a cooking pot)
Magravan edit delete reply
@CVB - We know that, but John's not going to bet his life on it :)

@Ice the frosty cat - He reminds me of a starting character in a roleplaying game... Equipped with knickknacks he found around the house, out to destroy the evil menace ;)

@geekgrrl - Haha! Yeah... Kids are adorable when they dress up like knights ;D

I like that John is a bit hesitant to deal with an actual corpse that *could* be a zombie, but has no problems dealing with zombies who look like people. Except dealing with Chad, but that's natural. I have to admit I wasn't too sure what was going on in that final panel though... obviously it looks like he's going to beat the corpse with the broom, but it also kinda looks he's falling over.

Waaaiiit a second, where'd that pot come from? I don't remember seeing it in the othr comics. Unless there's cooking appliances on the other side.
Magravan edit delete reply
@bbedlam - Well, outside of Chad, Ones are the only ones who have made a serious effort to attack him... And he's sort of jumping backwards ready to swing...

@Onecanofsprite - It's a shelter, I'm sure they've got lots of junk like that around ;)
Gorm edit delete reply
Trying to protect his brain might seem like a good idea, but I can't stop thinking that putting a kitchen utensil on your head might rather encourage someone who wants to eat your brain.
Magravan edit delete reply
That's hilarious Gorm ;) You're right, it's like he's adding himself to the pot for them already.. :)
Sarge edit delete reply
Is it just me, or does Ole Corpsey™ look kinda like Jonathan Coulton without glasses?
Magravan edit delete reply
:O He's on to us!
