I was actually going to letter this, but the computer that I tend to letter it on was running horribly... Between trying to load up the program to letter it in the first place, and then load up the text file where I keep the story, I was pretty much out of time... It was just running reaaaaaaallly slow.. I don't think it ever managed to load the script before I gave up and passed it off to June...

Anyway, have a great weekend everyone :)

her boobs look weird in the first panel

:D I love Beth's expressions in every single panel.
And Robert's hair.
The complex is really nice too.
There is one thing kinda bugging me though. :I In the second panel, Beth seems ridiculously thin . <_<
Oh no! D:

I agree withy Teh-Lady and Kyo. Her facial expressions were wonderful and panel two is also my favourite. Your art skills are definitely growing, hon. I'm so in awe of your progress!

Not likely, since they're after Sylene.

Good job on the factory.

Is it wrong that after I read that line, all I could think was:

And who do you think you are?
Runnin' 'round leaving scars
Collecting your jar of hearts
And tearing love apart

*chuckle... great comic this time, as usual :)

@Kyo - They aren't as attached as she'd like them to be... ;P

@Teh-Lady-Randomness - Beth is usually too thin, in my opinion ;)

@Kyo - Definitely.

@MatthewJA - YES! That's awesome :D

@PixieSingsBass - I'm partial to the intense realism of Beth in the first panel :D

@jordanch68 - Good thing you stopped counting :D

@Muchacho NL - Amongst other things ;)

@Mark_770 - We were going for a fortress-y look for it, so hopefully that was conveyed :)

@SirWishbone - Yes, that is very wrong.

2 strips ago I was reminded of "V for Vendetta", this one reminds me of "Soylent Green" (at least they are good movies I am made to think of).

-pulls out a vaccum cleaner and sucks up ghost- hush you, you're not allowed to predict things based on given information you're supposed to make wild predictions that don't make sense then turn out later to be right.

I'm still standing by my shapeshifting psychic raccoon theory here so hush!

I LOVE the look of contempt in Beth's face in panel 2... terrific job, Skrael ;)

One question though: Why is Robert talking in capitals?
Looks to me like he's either screaming or just has a steadier voice than a One...

I was reading back and I saw the comics of April 9th... where John was talking to Beth about the green stuff...
I probably missed the comments about it, but what happened to that subject?
Magravan edit delete reply
@model S - Well, I hope you stick around because you are enjoying the comic ;)

@Kyo - Is it you, Kyo?

@T.Gatto - What reminded you of V for Vendetta?

@CarlRedifi - It's true. That's how it works :)

@Ghost286 - He he he ;)

@model S - Oh, it works either way :) Both seem to churn out their fair share of craziness :D

@Ghost286 - Point proven :D

@Muchacho NL - Robert's font (It is exclusively his, no one else has or will ever use it) is meant to reflect a powerful voice. That's what I use it for, anyway, which is why I often tell June to draw Robert in control of himself...

Ones and Twos use Mouth Breather BB, 3s, 4s and John / Thomas use Sunday Comics BB, and Robert uses EvilGeniusBB.

Fortunately, if anyone finds it jarring, he's being put on the back burner for a while again :D

As for the Green Stuff, it's going to be coming up again soon :) It's just one of those things that isn't necessarily at the forefront of consideration right now, due to all the other stuff that is going on.. :)

@Magravan (In response to your question)
The phantom telling Sylene that now that she was at his facility, she had to stay, because she could identify where it was to the authorities, reminded me of V talking to Eve, thats all.

Oh right!

I really enjoyed the V for Vendetta movie when I first saw it, and then I read the Graphic Novel, and now the part where she gets her head shaved and all that abuse just makes me angry in the movie's version...

At least in the book it made sense, in the movie, it doesn't seem like a valid reason at all... Like a poorly executed excuse to have the scenes from the book but without the core of purpose behind those scenes in the graphic novel...

I guess when you cut away all the other relevant parts, it becomes difficult to stuff the visually jarring scenes into something that hasn't been building it up...

After reading it, I still enjoy the movie in general, but I definitely prefer the graphic novel's story :)
