Hey everyone! Hope you've had a great week thusfar :D

Wow... That girl sure knows how to vacate a job... It's a good thing that she was working as security!

Anyway, just wanted to show Katie again before she exited :) And they've put Beth in the R&D department... I guess being a dirty traitor who caused the death of the Five's best friend isn't bad enough to change the fact that Beth is just too darn valuable to lose :)

Have a great weekend everyone, we'll see you on Monday :)

I will have to remember these life lessons for when I am fired from my job. :U

We here at TOGM are not suggesting how people not working for a zombie despot should deal with impending unemployment :D All actions by fictional characters in this environment are applicable only in situations that exactly mirror their circumstances.

You know.. when beth quits.. she could burn down this whole building. Because they took my stapler.. it was a Boston stapler....

And that concludes my ode to Office Space.

Beth needs to get out of the corporate world. Business attire does not suit her.
TabSpectra (Guest) edit delete reply
Hmm I think she'd make a perfect assitant for Beth

She's the type of person Beth seems to attract. Lol

nah, that's not stretching any definition. a TV is a good office supply, hell when i was doing clerical work at my school the only way i could stay sane was having a TV. with a sega genisis hooked up. ... a sega might be stretching the definition a bit though...

Katie and Sylene seem alike in certain ways. :)

Working in R+D might mean "being a test subject"... this might be a form of torture.
Hornet (Guest) edit delete reply
Given what was on the screen, kind of surprised it lasted this long on the wall.

I'll miss Katie!

@bbedlam - We were both trying to think of a title, and June suggested something like "Uhm Excuse me, I think you have my stapler" and I was excited because I was on Office Space's imdb quote page looking for the exact quote... Neither of us had discussed an Office Space connection before that :D

@TabSpectra - I don't think she'd make the perfect assistant for anyone... ;)

@model S - Yes, but a TV is not what most people think when they mention stealing office supplies ;D

@Mechanik - She's gone to the other side of the law :O

@SirReel - You never know what's on the way out the door :D

@Jacob Gristwood - Me too, that was a funny movie... I think it would have been even better if I'd worked in a cubicle or had to file a TPS report... But I'm just going to assume that Hollywood is accurately depicting office environments, and laugh accordingly :D

@Spinnerlink - In retrospect, she probably shouldn't have made that stuff green... ;) People might confuse it with the legitimate green stuff ;)

Oh, it could also be a shout out to Chem, the webcomic, which is really good :)

@jordanch68 - Hmmmm... They both come across as ditzy but have far more depth than they encourage people to realize :) Katie has the better reason though ;D

@aok666 - Ohohoho :) Maybeeee...

@Hornet - Normally it's not a hostile environment... Or that of an opportunistic one :D

@Peter Palmiotti - She'll be back in the story at some point :D

Why, oh why did I read Beth's first question as "Do you want me to make it sound like you were hitting ON me on the way?" ???

Wait.... don't answer that question :D
Magravan edit delete reply
Okay :)
model S (Guest) edit delete reply
@NL i read it the same. i think we both secretly want beth and katie to be lesbian lovers.
T.Gatto edit delete reply
Katie is awesome!

Now Beth just has to convince Katie to take her too when she leaves.
Magravan edit delete reply
@model S - "You didn't beat me as part of a tour... that's suuuuch a turn on for me, baby..." :P

@T.Gatto - I really enjoy her character concept... She seems shallow, but there might be more depth to her than any of the others :D
model S (Guest) edit delete reply
@mag: haha "you mean THE tour, with violence and degredation, he was being menacing. you could hear it in his voice you know."
model S (Guest) edit delete reply
MAG!! i totally just noticed on "the "D" is for Awesome" my first comment included "will his princess be in another castle" then in "castle'd" you made the joke that "your princess is in another castle" are these events related?!
aok666 (Guest) edit delete reply
Will we see Katie again?
Magravan edit delete reply
@model S - It's only related in the sense that it's a common joke, and unfortunately I am such a hack writer that I used the common joke ;)

@aok666 - Absolutely :)

so that was actually unintentional? O.o crazy coincidence. like srsly. completely crazy. so crazy infact i think you did the castled comic just to satisfy my comment subconciously of course. but seriously mag you're anything but a hack. the girl that wrote twilight is a hack. the entire first book could have been done BETTER without the badguy. your story makes sense and no characters can be ommited without making it worse... except karl. no one likes him (kidding)
Baughbe (Guest) edit delete reply
I have that exact stapler at work, even the same color. It is MY stapler.
Futurevgd edit delete reply
I finally decided to read all your comics and i have to say, its looks very good.

model S
is it just me or is the only thing NOT in her box a stapler?
idd (Guest) edit delete reply
That last panel reminds me of a line in a Pratchett book.
"The thieves of Ank-Morhpork will steal anything not nailed down. If they can pry it up it wasn't nailed down well enough."
Kyo edit delete reply
that could be anything
Magravan edit delete reply
@model S - Karl wasn't an initially planned character :) It was written in because Marshmallow Gherkin won a contest ;D Initially, I debated on making the Phantom look like MG, but decided that he was too integral to the plot to make a random appearance...

@Baughbe - Not anymore! Bwahhahaa!

@Futurevgd - Thank you, I hope you enjoy it ;)

@model S - There's a stapler, just hard to see :P

@idd - I love Pratchett :D I haven't read nearly enough Discworld novels..

@Kyo - Yes it could. But fortunately, we're not dealing with Quantum Physics, so we CAN say what it is. And it's a red stapler :P

@model S: I like Karl... ;(

model S
you ARE karl. but i said i was kidding. karl is cool. -hides crowbar-
Kyo edit delete reply
well magravan has never heard of the death of the author
Magravan edit delete reply
@model S - That's okay :)

@MarshmallowGherkin - I like Karl too :) His scene where he interrogates Sylene is still one of my favourites :D

@model S - Karl is definitely cool :)

@Kyo - I want to pretend that's you threatening me with death, but I looked it up on the Wiki and it was a boring essay. :/
