Turns out that Thursday comes after Wednesday... Who knew?

For some reason I got it in my head that this wasn't set to go up until tomorrow... So about 10 minutes before midnight, June, thinking the same thing, mentions it.. So FLASH! Lettered, resized and uploaded :D

Of course, I'm killing any credibility that I might have had about the post work stuff I do on the comic being difficult, time consuming or anything of that sort.. This does not bode well for my asking for a raise...

Also, whoever designed the ultimate weapon mini game for Tidus in Final Fantasy X deserves a special place in Video Game Hell. I can almost imagine the brainstorming... "I know! We'll do something with lousy controls... and... a questionable camera! YES! That's great... but... there could be something... more... I KNOW! We'll put things that show up out of NOWHERE and slow them down AND steal time! BRILLIANT!!" ... I hate that person right now.

If Chocobo training was REALLY like that, the entire species would be extinct. Who the heck wants to ride something that handles like that?

I laughed SO hard at that last panel where R.Z. is slapping some sense into poor John :)

Thats going to smart when John wakes up.

Why am I thinking about Shortround saying "You call him DR. Jones"?

I'm sure John did something to deserve it.

EDIT- Shortround, little kid from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, driving the car. Ring any bells?

@MatthewJA - And then everyone wonders why John is now sporting the semi-destroyed face prototype...

@Muchacho NL - Sometimes it's not a good time to pretend ;)

@Balthasar - Well, at least he gets to wake up.. That's better than most people who are stumbled upon by zombies get ;)

@T.Gatto - I ... have no idea what you're talking about, so ... no idea?

i think i'm a little lost. john is roberts friend PRErnlightenment, right.
okay so then why was john working for phantom if he was friends with robert? was robert trying to keep him safe or something? sorry for all the questions, i'm just a bit befuddled

If you are interested in buying a TOGM shirt, or any t-shirt from Zazzle, really, there's a deal for 50% off until 4pm PST on Oct 14th. Just put OCTSHIRTFFHS into the screen.

I just bought a bunch for us :D Of course, it would have been nice if I had known that they were doing this a few days ago, since I just got 15% off instead of 50% on Thanksgiving :/

Heh that last panel pure awesome, and maybe its just me but I'm sure John looks like zombie Thomas in that panel as he gets face slapped.

@Ghostappears Thomas was Roberts Friend, John is.... well we don't know what the hell he is at this point many theories about clones/twins/shapeshiftingraccoons have been put forward but the truth is not yet known. As for Thomas working against Robert I think its all down to the whole I've just killed off mankind thing and yes Robert was trying to keep Thomas alive but he may have actually only been holding John whilst Thomas was running around.

This wall of text brought to you by caffine/sugar high!

@Ghostappears - Thomas is Robert's friend, pre-enlightenment. John and Thomas are not the same person.

As to why Thomas was helping the Phantom.. You aren't supposed to understand yet, so .. I don't know if that helps or not. Robert was trying to keep Thomas safe, yes.

@Ghost286 - The reasoning behind Thomas' defection will receive more attention in book 4 :)

@T.Gatto I wonder if eating monkey brains will upgrade you from a two to a three...

Also are there any normal or zombie animals in this story???
Magravan edit delete reply
Not currently, no. I'd rather not have them at all, but if I decide later on to have them, it might be better to leave that door open.
T.Gatto edit delete reply
@D_Man Good question, unfortunately monkeys are in short supply in Mid West America. If I see any walking by I'll hunt them down, eat their brains, and see if I get any smarter. ;)

Hey don't be so hard on yourself your comic is great.
What you said about a raise don't you work for youreself? Or is your wife in charge?
Magravan edit delete reply
More a joke than anything :) The job I actually work at either gives a raise or they don't.. Asking isn't going to make a difference :)

I guess the truer statement is that the next time I ask for any sympathy about how hard the comic is to put together, she's not going to buy it ;)
