Hey guys! Hope you had a great weekend!

Here's the Mysterious Stranger! He has a name, but given the fact that he seems to know John, and John doesn't want to admit to not knowing him, I'm not sure if it's going to come out any time soon in the comic itself.

I think June had a lot of fun drawing him, and commented a few times that she enjoyed his Stetson. :) For anyone who is wondering, he is speaking with a Two's rasp, but obviously he comes across as more intelligent than your average Two. This is intentional, and not a mistake on my part :)

On the creation side, for the first time in a long time, we have a buffer! :O June's been a drawing machine recently, and the only thing slowing her up is the fact that I haven't written far enough ahead. She may or may not have finished 250 by the time that this is posted.

Still want to be in TOGM? Haven't managed yet? We have two more openings coming up :O We managed to get up to 12th on Top Webcomics at one point, ahead of comics with a much larger following. Thank you guys for your awesome support!

In a slight change since last time, I'm requesting that people send pictures along with the email, just so that I don't have to worry about whether or not I can get ahold of you in time if you are selected. As per usual, I'll be using random.org to select a winner, so the picture itself wont have any bearing on whether or not you get chosen. Having a picture ahead of time just facilitates the process a little better.

Guest Art

June drew a NSFW guest art for Jon over at the also NSFW Everyday(NSFW!)Abnormal which is NSFW. Still, if you're not at work, and okay with nudity, it's a pretty awesome picture :) I think that's almost sufficient disclaimer about it being NSFW, but just in case, I will remind anyone interested that it is NSFW ;)

Take care everyone, and have a great week! We'll see you back on Thursday, and then on Saturday where RZ will answer some of your questions :)

The Mysterious Stranger. By some unspoken law, he seems to be a bit of a cowboy... with a few traces of biker and possibly a Hawaiian shirt. Also, that post behind John both amazes and terrifies me.

Tuscany is a pretty scary place ;)

What my concern is, is that Robert and the Mystery Man still mistake John for Thomas... yet Magravan keeps explaining how they know John, and how John doesn't (want to) remember...
But I still think they just confuse him for Thomas...

Jon is really Morph from the X Men and this is just his time spent when he was thought dead when that sentinal hit him with its lazers

holly crap i think i found out whats going on XD they were TWINS lol

A zombie with a hat! There have been some with helmets, which makes sense - they have to protect their brains. So he's just stylish, or maybe he's a human in disguise! Hmmmmm...
I see some of Skrael's artwork in Thomas' room, which means she exists in the TOGM universe. She could be a zombie!

Holy crap is that Sam Elliott?

@Muchacho NL - You're right, they're mistaking him for Thomas... That's what I mean to say :)

@neon5162 - That makes sense. Completely.

@Jack - The Twins theory certainly has some evidence for it ;)

@PhilC - Yes! Though, I would have trouble calling that stylish ;) June initially thought of having the top of his head broken open and the hat holding his brains in, but remembered that wouldn't work :)

@fingerwitch - I think she was saying he's got a Smokey and the Bandit vibe to him ;)

hey there mag. you have a buffer? wow. i wish i had one of those, does it work on shoes? XD

Oh yeah! I thought I recognised a certain picture on a wall!
PhilC edit delete reply
Yes, that would explain the moistness around the headband. Yeech.

Cool Zombie, now who the F is he?
Magravan edit delete reply
@model S - Heya! It works on shoes in the sense that if we wreck our shoes, we can run out and buy new ones because we wont have to worry about the comic not being done in time :D

@Alex Starkiller - June's other artwork, at least the SFW stuff, tends to pop up in various places around TOGM land ;) It's funny how all these various people are all appreciative of her work :D

@PhilC - Yeah, it's still from head grossness, but sadly not the only thing keeping his brains from falling out ;)

@T.Gatto - If it's not explained in the next one, it should be pretty clear in the one after that ;)

So... What John is a clone and the missing "experiment" while the dead guy was the real Thomas is that what happened? I'm confused...
Muchacho NL edit delete reply
Muchacho NL
Well, John = John and Thomas = Thomas...
That's all you need to know for now :)
Magravan edit delete reply
@Guest - I think I probably could have arranged that portion of the story better... I focused more on trying to convince people that they were the same person than making it readily understandable.. Sorry about that!

@Muchacho NL - And John = Living, Thomas = Zombie :)
Alex Starkiller edit delete reply
Alex Starkiller
Well, she's great! :D And I didn't notice because I didn't see her work until recently... :P

John=John=Alive, Thomas=Thomas=Zombie [One], Thomas=John?=Alive and/or Zombie, John+Thomas=Explosion or Story Arc or Profit.
The math is quite easy really.

What is this "buffer" that you speak of? D: It must be a well-kept secret for only the best of artists. Go, June, go~!

I like this new character. :3 I like him a lot.

Isn't a Zombie basically THE definition of Schrodinger's Cat?

They're not alive, but they're not dead (yet).
just_idd (Guest) edit delete reply
No, zombies are dead. They are just slow at not moving.
Alex Starkiller edit delete reply
Alex Starkiller
No, Schrodinger's Cat is where you poison, or some similar thing, a cat and put it in a box, so you will not know whether or not the cat is dead or alive. You know zombies were dead, and are now undead.
Magravan edit delete reply
@Alex Starkiller - I don't think either of them would enjoy the captivity :)

@Kristy - June likes him too, especially his hat :D I'm starting to think that she's making her character designs after things that would be funny to see someone cosplay ;P

@Muchacho NL - No, though you could substitute a zombie for the vial of poison :D

@just_idd - LOL! They are terrible at accepting and appreciating what it means to be dead.

@Alex Starkiller - Except for the point about poisoning it in advance, you're right. The poison is set up in a state where you can't know for sure whether or not it's been administered, which is how it works as a completely unknowable state between Life / Death.

But you're absolutely right about zombies in that you know every state as an easily observable thing.
