Sorry. ;)

I wanted to get this one in for two reasons... It seemed like a good point to do a quick break in the story, and I wanted to show that there are other things going on, because I'm not sure how long it will take me to get back to that sort of thing. It was also a chance for June to get her contest entry for Love Kills Slowly finished. So sorry, but I believe I put up Effigy's guest comic as a sort of compensation. We'll see if it worked out. Try the back button :D

I asked June if the word flowed, and asked her to point to the different sections as she read, so hopefully you were as capable of finding the next one as she was. It's a gamble, but I wanted to try something different.

I'm actually genuinely worried that this strip will turn off new readers, and possibly some of the current readers as well. I hope that new readers will check back in our archive and hopefully see something they like, and that current readers will trust us enough to continue on with the story. June's very excited about doing the art for the next one, so I hope you guys stick around to see it :)

As for the joke.. It's a reference to Inspector Gadget, which is kind of hokey in the first place, but the fact that half our readers may not have even seen the show doesn't help. Even if you do get it, I'm pretty sure I wont be having to pay for anyone's broken hip from when they fell out of their chair laughing so hard. They can't all be great! (and without June's art to distract you, you notice it more..)

So yeah. Oh, if you want to see some art -I- did, I'm going to be making a guest comic for Goodbye Kitty soon. I'm just sucky as an artist, so it's going to take a while... But some people like seeing lousy artists suck at drawing, so those people are in luck ;)

In non-comic related news, we did our taxes today, put the return into RRSPs, and went to apply for a pre-approved Mortgage. So we're pretty happy about that :) Wish us luck, we'd love to start paying for our own house!

On that happy note, hope you see you on Monday... (really really)

I think the text flowed nicely. At first glance I wasn't sure if it would, but it did. :)

And Inspector Gadget is awesome.
Now I have a need to go watch either the cartoons or the movies. Or both.

I'm left with the impression you are worried about readers' reaction on every comic that came lately :D Don't worry, its great!

Instant classic.

I think that I was understandably concerned on this one ;) Usually I can hide the bad writing behind good art :)

Is John the Phantom? I already had some theories about him before this, the plot thickens!
