It's like Meals on Wheels except less tasty and over the internet, but here's Monday's TOGM!

I had to tweak the dialogue in this one because I just couldn't get happy with a bubble placed between R.Z. and John in the last panel that was actually Beth talking... Placed anywhere else and the 'order' got difficult to follow, and placed where it was just looked ugly. June's pretty upset over it, because I 'ruined the joke', but to be fair, it wasn't that funny to begin with. So really, nothing much lost, and John still gets in something that could be mistaken for a punchline if you squint and tilt your head slightly.

Another cool thing is that I finally got the Fan Art section going up in the top right corner... I basically stole the design from AngryRob over at Love Kills Slowly, but obviously with TOGM art instead... I didn't want to be -that- obvious... We're going to put up 2 more that I just made sure I had permission to post very soon.

If you don't know what R.Z. is saying in Panel 3, it's supposed to be airplane noises. I'm horrible at putting sounds into letter form. He's basically zooming his Bonejangles Action Figure around like an airplane. Still rocking the Goodbye Kitty T-shirt which you can actually buy at Al's store. Though, if someone does buy it and sends pictures to Al, we better get one to put up here too...

Speaking of which, I think I've finally broken down and seen the sense of things. I can't provide the flexibility of being able to order a XXXXL shirt, or if someone wanted to get a TOGM design on some designer t-shirt maker because they use workers from one country or another, or because their soccer hero endorsed a given brand... And since he's shown me that you can put them up for 12-13 bucks a shirt, ( plus shipping :/ ), it's not quite as much money as I had thought to be saved if we do anything other than a black and white line art drawing. So when we finally decide on an image, we'll probably put it up on Zazzle like everyone else seems to be ;)

And on that happy note, time to send this off to wait patiently for midnight to update.

This comic was so funny. I'm pissed with myself for ruining it. It was funny because of what I drew to go along with it, JAMES!

The punchline for panel four was:
"That's probably the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me"
And Beth is supposed to say "Depressing isn't it?"
And RZ is looking absolutely goofy and all drooly and lame .. so the FUNNY part is that an airhead Two is the only one who can say nice things to John. THAT'S FUNNY STUFF!

James wants me to post about my computer woes, but I don't feel like typing it out again. Needless to say, my computer went FUBAR on me, James fixed it, as usual, yay, the end. MAGIC VOODOO STUFFS!

I used caps a lot in this one, didn't I?

PS BoneJangles makes an awesome airplane, don't you think?

This just occurred to me... what happens if he eats his own brain? @_@

@MarshmallowGherkin - We've been debating T-shirts and buttons and such for a while now... Just trying to find the best value and accomodate anyone who actually wants to buy something in the best possible way. Doing it personally allowed us a little more flexibility in one area, like getting it signed or something to personalize it... Adding value to it by making it something more than just a T-shirt that you buy off a website.. But like I said before, if we did it personally, everyone gets the same t-shirt style, whether they like it or not. Some people are willing to pay more for a t-shirt that is, say, 100% cotton... Zazzle provides that flexibility.

Perhaps once we put a store up, we'll come up with an idea of what we can do to 'add value' to any purchases. The one major advantage to deciding to go this way is that we have more options with colour now.

@Barrahir - Same thing that happens if you eat your own brain, I suspect. Loss of motor function and bladder control are almost guaranteed, hilarity to ensue. People to look at you strangely..

I totally know how John felt in that last panel. I would have probably said the same thing. xD His like pained expression in the second to last panel made me burst out laughing.

And err to the previous comments which I totally forgot to check back on...

@June- It is getting better and better. The art is finally starting to get more consistent with each passing comic and your expressions are amazing in each comic in my honest opinion. And if it weren't a challenge it be dull, so excellent coincidence that it's proving challenging!

@John- I meant both, the storyline is original (To me anyways) and keeps me entertained and like I said to June I enjoy the art and how it's getting better continously. And stealing my statements ambiguity, shame on you! LOL!

PS-@June(Again)- Only keep in contact with Yosei mostly now a days, sometimes Tiny, but I'll gladly give em your greetings once I see em online!

Ohh.. it was airplane noises...

I thought it something else.... but that's just me I guess :)

@Syaoran - I'll try not to be offended that you called me by the character's name :P

@bbedlam - You know, that would have worked too, really :) Panel 3 and 4 were both meant to establish that R.Z. is not the epitome of coolness that John might want in his first and only real friend :D

-@JAMES-Lmao! Oh shit, I totally did not realize that. You know all the darn J's all over the place, John, James, June, it gets confusing! xD

Hahaha ;) I guess I better rename Jamal, Jebidiah and Jesse before they are introduced :)

Is that a Max of "Sam & Max" t-shirt he is wearing?
Magravan edit delete reply
R.Z.? No, that's a Goodbye Kitty shirt that June designed and then Alparrott, the author of the Goodbye Kitty webcomic on CF (rather than some of the not so good ones out there) :)

John's reply to Beth's "depressing" statement could be: "Times like this I could really use a drink, but I'd need some ice...mind if I chisel some off your heart?" Said with a smile of course. :) lol
